Agathius
Greetings! Is it possible to modify the path of the default user settings / save games folder?I tried to modify the DAOriginsConfig.xml but without luck. Whenever I start the game it always creates the folder at C:\...\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Ageand I cannot modify this path. My intention is to redirect this path to the game directory, and this way creatingan all in one "one folder" installation. Thandal
You don't have the option to make this change for the simple reason that the installation already creates folders with the same names under the "\Program Files\Dragon Age" (or "\Program Files\Origin games\Dragon Age") folder. Those are used for "Official" patches and updates. The ones under your user profile: "\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age" folder are used for player-added customizations. Proper operation requires that these two sets of folders be separate. The (incredibly detailed) level to which you'd have to understand the Eclipse game engine's coding and file search routines to be able to successfully combine these into one, plus the (very) high probability that something would go wrong and totally hose your game, means this would be a Very Bad Idea.
