DarthWayne
It's only in the game files. At least I didn't find it in the esm so far. Looks like an unfinished asset that was left in the game after they ran out of time. Someone made a playable version you can find here. However he didn't umwrap the UV map nor did he make a real texture for it.... Edited February 1, 2016 by DarthWayne
JuJooGuppy
The Bethesda AK model is not in the game by default, I think he is looking to get it textured to aid in making it usable in game. :)

DarthWayne
That's not the problem. You can export the mesh as obj with nifskope and then edit the UV map in blender or 3ds max. Then use 3ds max to get it into a nif again.

DarthWayne
Ok, nevermind. I always thought UV unwraping was part of the texturing process. I would help you with the modeling but the only thing I could do about the uv map is the one klick unwrap and that gives you a result like this:

DarthWayne
The problem is that many parts that should be combined in the UV map (like screws) are divided into several parts that are not even close together. I guess you would have to do a lot of work to make it actually useful.Anyway I already started dividing the gun into its parts (stock, barrel, grip...) so you can make it modifiable. I can send you the meshes if you are interested.

thtyger
has anyone figured out if textures are within reach for things like power armor? it would be sweet to have something like metro's (robot from real steel) sash thing, looks like it used to be a subway announcement sign
