CTD when loading any save or even starting new game after patch 1.3.47

My game has been ctd'ing after about 5 minutes game time now, before the patch with over 50 mods I was running fine, now I'm ctd'ing around every corner, I can load my save, but after a few minutes of gameplay It will CTD. I have many mods but not any of the mods that you guys think are causing the issue. I also tried deactivating mods but this fixed nothing. SO, my only conclusion is that Bethesda just messed up their game, and it doesn't seem to have anything to do with mods.

I have exactly the same problem. don't uninstall mods since it's not the mods that cause this problem. it's the patch itself. I can't find any solution at all. i tried everything possible digging through forums and threads. nothing. and there goes my playtime

Same, 4 hours into troubleshooting. Disabled all .esp mods, loaded multiple save games, multiple characters, verified game integrity, new ini's, reviewed a dozen papyrus logs after crashes, reinstalled game, etc. etc., all the recommendations listed on various forums. Nothing works. Prior to the 1.3 patch I was running over 100 .esp mods and had crashed only maybe twice in over 100 hours of gameplay. Now I can't play 5 minutes without it crashing. It is ridiculous that Steam/Valve forces these auto-updates that break games.

Firat time running into problems after a patch for me.

Can not load any save in a settlement where i build stuff from any of the settlement mods. I can load saves outside one of the settlements but as soon is i fast travel CTD. Did not have a lot of time to check, but i also instant CTD when trying to equip the PE dress.

Running 186 mods so i did not feel like checking them all any further.

I can start a new game though without problems so far, workshop menu's do not give a CTD though i have not tried all build menu's yet and actually build any of the mod stuff.

Armorsmith extended also worked fine for me, think i read somewhere it was causing ctd for some after the 1.3 patch.

Other problem i ran into is the keyboard stopped working after entering either the looks or name menu just before leaving the vault. Had to set benablegamepad to zero in falloutprefs ini under general and restart pc to fix that. Only restarting the game did not help!?

I will have to do some building tonight to see what happens.

Il be damned it worked. I only had noobjectlimit from that mod and removing it fixed my load crash problem. Thanks

Noob-ject-limit??! LOL!!!

Took me a second to catch it  but now I wont read this .esp normally ever again...

BTW if you are disabling all your mods together In most cases it will only led to more CTD. Try going one by one or like me count for a lucky shot. ;)
Besides "Noob-ject-limit" all mods I have are working fine, including those for settlements like Homemaker, OCD or Snap and Build.

I do not use FOSE. And I can load the game just fine now. Its saved games crashing in game.

I was getting crashes on starting a new game, as well.

Do you guys have this mod installed?

Gore Overhaul

My game kept crashing and it turns outs out that it was linked to these two files

data\textures\gore\gorebasebits_s.dds

data\textures\gore\gorehumanhead_n.dds

credit to steve40 for the fix

Dunno if that helps but thought I'd pass it along.

Deleting Gore Overhaul fixed the loading creashes for me. Thanks alot!

If you still have crashes, remember to check to see if you have any Flag files in the Textures/SetDressing folder(Loose files under the folders), as modifying the flags now seems to cause CTDs.

And by flags, I mean those pieces of cloth you hang on the top of a long pole, that waves in the wind(Just clarifying, as some people had difficulty understanding what I meant)
