ille623
This problem is occuring in both Fallout 3 and New Vegas all of a sudden. Whenever I try to enable a mod in FOMM it will tell me that 'something bad has happened' and leaves a crashdump file in the fomm folder. When I try to enable them in Data Files, nothing will happen and as soon as I click OK, the boxes will just uncheck themselves. I've tried reinstalling mod manager, running as administrator and searched all over the internet for a solution but can't find anything. Please help :( Crash Dump:Saturday, 30 April 2011 - 4:48:58 PMFomm 0.12.6OS version: Microsoft Windows NT 6.1.7600.0 System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:\Users\Home\AppData\Local\Fallout3\plugins.txt' is denied. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.FileStream.Init(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, Int32 rights, Boolean useRights, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES secAttrs, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy) at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options) at System.IO.StreamWriter.CreateFile(String path, Boolean append) at System.IO.StreamWriter..ctor(String path, Boolean append, Encoding encoding, Int32 bufferSize) at System.IO.StreamWriter..ctor(String path, Boolean append, Encoding encoding) at System.IO.File.WriteAllLines(String path, String[] contents, Encoding encoding) at Fomm.MainForm.lvEspList_ItemChecked(Object sender, ItemCheckedEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ListView.OnItemChecked(ItemCheckedEventArgs e) at L0ki.Controls.ReordableItemListView.OnItemChecked(ItemCheckedEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ListView.WmReflectNotify(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ListView.WndProc(Message& m) at L0ki.Controls.ReordableItemListView.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)
ille623
Never mind, fixed! Navigate to your "C:\Users\(your name)\Appdata\Local" Now right click on your Fallout3 or FalloutNV folder, right click and select properties. Then uncheck read only.
