Rckennison
Something that's always bothered me is how little pickpocketing and and stealing matters in fallout 4. You would think that in a world like fallout, stealing would be a pretty common thing, and being a successful pickpocketer should be well worth it, but looking through quite a few npcs inventorys as I've traveled, i've noticed that beyond early game, pickpocketing is little more than a way to plant a grenade, disarm enemies, and force npcs out of power armor. the problem is that it seems to be mainly failing at what it's primary benefit imo SHOULD be. One of the things that irks me the most is that traders/shop keepers can't have their stock stolen at all. If you were to kill them, their inventory just poofs out of existence. Why can't we at least attempt to pickpocket their wares, or even their caps? Tl;dr Let us steal traders caps and stock. plox.
