More Magicka?

Man my fingers hurt. I was so excited today, I worked on getting my Illusion skill up to 100 by casting Light over and over AND over again. I was so excited because after giving myself carpal tunnel I made a 100% Chameleon for 120 seconds spell. Unfortunately I wasn't thinking about magicka cost when I did this, and it requires 548 to cast. I only have 276. How can I get this up to the 548 required, so I can breeze through these Thieve's guild quests!

 

Man am I bummed out about that, time to go ice my casting finger. Please help!

Bring up your intelligence, use fortify intelligence or fortify magicka enchantments/potions.

If you can, go hunt sigil stones. When standing right before it, save the game and pick the stone.

Theres a little trick here: To avoid annoying loading screens, see at the upper left Corner of the Screen. When you pick up the Sigil stone, its added to your inventory before the Gate closes, so you can see if you have the right Sigil stone before you are back in cyrodiil, thus avoiding a Loading screen :D

There are Sigil Stones with 35% Chameleon enchantment, so you could enchant three pieces of Armor with it. You wont be seen by anyone, except friendly NPCs catch while pocketpicking. They will see you with master sneakskill, 100% Chameleon and behind a Wall. Like QuestNPCs.

 

Enemys wont be able to see you. Sometimes, my sneaking crosshair goes bright, but no one has managed ta land a sngle Blow on me while i wear my Stealth armor.

I have two pieces of enchanted armor and a ring of khajiiti.

Then, i hunted more sigil stones to enchant the other Armor with feather.

Now i can carry about 1200 weight "units" :D

 

another Thing: You can enchant items with the Sigilstones without using the enchantment Altars at the Arcane Univercity. So theres no need to be in the Mages Guild for that =)

This what I did, I had five Black Soul Gems. then, I took all five pieces of the Glass Armor (it doesn't matter what kind, I chose glass)

the five peaces are:

Helmet

Gauntlets

Grieves

Cuirass

Boots

 

then I enchanted them all with Chameleon, and each one gave me 20%. So, having 5 equipable armor with 20% chameleon equals 100% chameleon. So, now I'm purely invisible.

 

Note: When having 100% Chameleon active, light from torches do not appear, you must have a ring, or necklace that has the enchantment Light, or you can just use a spell.

 

But yeah, I steal stuff from people in broad daylight, when I'm standing right in front of them! ^_^ Its really cool

Meridia's Quest gives you the ring of Khajiit which is 35% chameleon IIRC.

 

However 100% chameleon renders the game completely banal IMO. It's fun for a little while but you can kill anything because it never hits back. Or you can run past everything! Where is the challenge?

 

The only time I feel it might be of interest is if you insist on closing all 99 Oblivion gates at high levels (to avoid the boredom of killing the incessantly irritating daedric creatures).
