So now I ask you fellow gamers!; Whats the Scariest or first shock you met? Put some detail into it!! Mine: My first real shock was in the tutorial, when you are about to learn about combat, and those rats jump right on ya! Matron, so i mustve attracted its attention on the ascent. Finally looking over the ledge, it mustve power attacked me straight in the back of the head. Long story short, I hate gravity. The Dark Brother Posted June 19, 2007 Share Posted June 19, 2007 Turning off the music in Oblivion makes it more scary, as there is no warning of impending attack. Also, get a mod called 'undeath' (search the dowloads section). It changes the way the undead work, in that when you enter the room, they're 'dead'. But if you get too close to one, it wakes up (and scares the crap out of you!). The best example is when you're in one of those misty Elven Ruins and they all suddenly get up! I had lead him into Oblivion where he ran away and got killed. Later, I was in an Aylied ruin sneaking around when I saw a light behind me. At first, I thought it was a bandit, but I didn't hear the music. I slowly turned around and saw him smiling at me. *real life* I screamed and fell out of my chair. I wonder....... whats inside..... what the hell is this doing here" I thought. So I went inside...>_< Oh yeah, this was at 1:00 in the morning. So, I go inside, surrounded by water, then the music starts..... (O)_(O) "OMFG, WHATS GOING ON, WHATS AFTER ME?????????" I turn around.................BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Giant Slaughterfish!!!! *soiling myself* (jk) That just one, but byfar the worst. One stormy night, out near the basin of the Colovian Hights, I was running threw the forested hills, unexpecting the dangers that layed within. As I jumped over rocks, and broke threw bushes, I found myself at the top of treeless hill. I started down the steep hill, but then in the darkness of the rain.... SCRATCH, I was hit by a Mountain Lion that jumped off a nearby ledge and landed on me!!!!! >_< I never cused so much in my life Thats about it I think. I hope you had a good laugh. Not so much what scared me, but after whacking a guy and spending a week in the imperial prison, I was interuppted 4 times in my sleep. Conjurer, Lucien, Crazy lady, Conjurer.
