Vulnarr
Hello all, Probably a dumb question, but seeing as I don't know too much about the modding capabilities of the GECK too well, I'm inclined to ask. Is it possible with GECK to change skin textures on the fly? For instance ( and going to use underwear as a reference as it shows the most skin ), say I wanted to make a mod that every time you got hit or at various points of HP, your character's skin got a gashes or scratches in it, to show increasingly more severe damage to the body. I know that would require several skin textures for the varying points of severity of injury. Is there any way to implement a way that will switch to the different textures automatically when you take damage or heal? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. killstorm37
it whould probably have to be a whole new nif file for each stage of damage, there was a mod on the tes nexus that did something like that, but it was for armor. you might want to take a look at it http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=29751; altho most of the mods for it where more "adult" than just scratches. i suppose it would need to be heavily modified to make it work in fallout, but then again the engine is just a modified version of the oblivion one
