Akkikiri
OK, I'll just get to the point: How do you assign custom music to cells? I'm trying to get some chorus music I have to the chapel interiors, but what I try doesn't work. :wallbash: Any help? Thanks, all!
YamiKai
Are you able to get a sound location in the CS entered? And do you have the sound files in your music directory/did you put them their before editing?
Akkikiri
Are you able to get a sound location in the CS entered? And do you have the sound files in your music directory/did you put them their before editing? Where there are sub-folders in the "Music" folder ("Public", "Dungeon", etc.), I put a folder with my music. When I open the CS and open the interiors to edit them, my folder doesn't show up in the options for music. :(

Whichever you see fit. Though other than that I'm not sure I can help.
Akkikiri
The thing is, in one of the original folders, the music plays at random from a list of songs. I want specific music in a specific place, and I don't want to have to delete every other song to do it. :( And also, when I go to change the music for the interior, I only get the options "Public", "Dungeon", and "Default". I don't even know what the last one is! :wallbash:
YamiKai
I'm going to take a look in CS and see if you're overlooking something. Hold on. Edit: I think I found something. I'll highlight what I found in a screenshot. Just another minute or two. Edited May 3, 2011 by YamiKai
YamiKai
http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g277/Kai-Ryu/CS-Sound.png Follow the blue lines to make a new sound file (right click at the bottom, where there is no current sound file to get the "New" option). Then drag it as the red lines indicate. (I would test this out but I'm having CTDs.)

Great plan, but when I went to test it and made the new sound file, it wouldn't let me!   It's weird! It went fine until it told me to select the sound I wanted. I clicked, double-clicked, triple-clicked, no matter how i try, selecting my sound is useless. It just doesn't respond. :( And I tested other sounds. It's not just my song. any sound effect I try to put in doesn't work. It's hard to explain, but the point is that option isn't working.
YamiKai
Did you use an MP3? Because I haven't been able to get that file format in either. So it wouldn't be just you. Also, for some reason, you can't double click. You have to select and click "Okay". Then the file will show it's path where the button to add the file is. Akkikiri
Yes, it was an MP3. And yeah, I tried selecting it and pressing "Okay".
