In the future, Quebec achieves independence but it's short lived because they go bankrupt. Since Canada is fed up with their s***, they refuse to help them anymore and Quebec ends up crawling on its knees to the United States, who allows them to become another state because they know Quebec is a source of cheap labor. So you can just use the American flag and it will be accurate. ...and a mod that disables the pre dice roll in a round. right now its like this: your round starts. the dice in the backround roll and say: every soldier in this round will miss(but you dont know that[these who didnt snoop around in the files]) so you run up to a alien have a 99% hit chance and you miss....your angry. so you reload BUT the devs made it so that this "miss dice roll" is saved and you can reload it a thousand times every soldier will miss whatever you do which is just plain bulls***. so a mod which disables this bulls*** and let us hit on the percentage and not this ridiculous dice roll in the background. the aliens dont have this dice roll btw.This!!! ^^^ Weapon Mod: Suppressor. If an enemy is killed in one shot and no other enemy is in visual range to spot it then Concealment is not broken.and this. ^^^ Also, does anyone else find it stupid that when you hack something, even if successful with 100%, you are revealed? Shouldn't a good hack cover your traces? I would like any mod that enhances the "RPG" type elements of the game. The skill sets seem very limited. It's fun to shape your soldiers, but it would be even more enjoyable if we were able to use more skills as well as add to other areas of improvement such as endurance, will, strength, aim, etc. The more control, the better! I'd like to see additional weapon tiers (only 1 or 2) besides conv, mag, and plasma. I'd like to see a class rehaul using the enhanced perk tree system ( thinking 3 skills per class, 1 skill is one side branch, 1 skill is the other side branch, and then a 3rd skill that could be used by either branch (sort of a class neutral skill). With this set up you could completely revamp the 4 classes already in the game to make them much more diverse even if you have 7-8 of the same class. With this I'd like to see an additional 2-4 classes depending how well revamped the 4 original classes are w/ adding a 3rd skill to each rank to choose from. I've seen rogue/assassin like classes, but they seem to just be one way or the other (which is where a bow/arrow could come into play -- it's silent, useful utility, and deadly). I have so many ideas for this but I know I do not have the necessary skills to pull this off.Having many different modders making their own standalone mods leaves too much room to create redundancies between skills/classes when using them together. This is why I feel like it needs to be one modder or a team of modders releasing a series to bring all of this together completely overhauling the class structures and adding much much much more diversity into the game. There are mods that lets you use civilian clothes as armor and that's cool and all, but I'd like civilian clothes to work as a unique set of armor to use when trying to be all sneaky and fast. What the mod would do is the following: 1) Give Xcom soldiers -1 HP,2) Give kevlar armor +1 HP to negate # 1,3) Give civilian clothes armor +1 mobility,4) Give civilian clothes 1 utility slot (same as kevlar),5) Decrease enemy and civilian (snitches!) detection range for soldiers wearing civilian clothes by 1 when in concealment (and maybe 2 when the Vigilance Dark Event is active). I can do # 1-4 myself, but I'm not sure how to do # 5, so here's the request for some brave young modder to work her/his magic and conjure this thing up! :smile: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mods like Double Pod hit a point where they can't actually double the numbers, because pods bigger than... 10? I think? Break the game. Anyway, I can't really find WHERE that determination is made. Perraine Posted March 2, 2016 Share Posted March 2, 2016 - The main story/quest line needs to be WWWWAAAAAYYYYY longer, and take way more time to progress. It's totally insane that you can get 3/4 of the Avatar project completed whilst still using 'conventional' weapons.- You SHOULD be able to bring home loot (artifacts and bodies) from EVERY mission you complete successfully or above, even the ones you "Evac" from, as long as all mission objectives were completed. (i.e 'VIP" missions, and the Avatar sites)- Improve the functionality of the GTS by allowing for it to be upgraded to train up to 6 soldiers at a time. ( so it isn't totally obsolete and a waste of space after a month or two in game time)- Improve the functionality of the AWC to not only re-allocate soldiers perks, but completely change their specialization ( so it isn't totally obsolete and a waste of space after a month or two in game time)- Add a "Med Bay" as an optional facility with up to 4 Scientist (= 400%) slots to allow for improved soldier healing (instead of the stupidity of having an 'engineer' in the AWC?!?!?!?) - MOAR "Magnetic" weapon variations/mods please! (only one AFAIK is from the SMG pack?)- MOAR "Plasma" weapon variations/mods please! (only one AFAIK is from the SMG pack?)(Their are already several "conventional' weapon mods, but they seem a bit silly and out of place when other soldiers are using plasma rifles and plasma lances, and your Ranger is still using some rusty old pump action shotty his dad gave him?!?!?) I attempted doing this myself and was only able to disable rain.
