I tried to install a mod called Improved Fires (by hlvr) cause I saw it recently and thought it would greatly add to the immersion factor of my TES4 installation. First, I gave the OMOD a shot. After activating, the game would CTD with no error - not even getting to the main menu, not showing the BethSoft intro, nothing. Just a black screen for 2 seconds then it disappears. Then I tried the regular .esp format - same issue. Whenever the mod is active, TES4 refuses to run. I have had this issue before with two mods only - Cernasite's Dragon Eyes, and also his Oracle Eyes. And I didn't manage to figure what caused it - without those mods enabled, my Oblivion installation runs just fine (heavily modded although). I have a claen original GOTY copy patched to 1.2.416 and with KoTN and SI. Any help would be greatly appreciated. May the Nine Divines watch over you!
