Nightwolfhunter
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8235 is the link to the mod for those who need to see. So I made this an OMOD because I have OBBM and Wyre Bash and have never had a problem with something being made into an OMOD. However, all the custom meshes for this mod are not there. I get the "WTF!? MISSING MESH" star thing. so why are the meshes not there? they are IN the OMOD. so....I'm just confused as to why the meshes aren't there, and how to get them there. Telyn
Check if there is a data folder inside your data folder. I think it may be that the directory structure of the mod was not fully OMOD ready so files were put in the wrong place.
Nightwolfhunter
thanks.however, there is only one data folder, and it doesn't contain another data folder.
Telyn
Have you checked to see if the meshes are where they should be in your data folder?
Nightwolfhunter
found the problem after your posts. For some reason, only the esp was placed at all. none of the sounds, meshes, or textures were placed at all. Re-read the readme and palced the files manually. Telyn
Glad you solved it. I think my original guess was correct then and the OMOD wasn't properly installing because most likely that mod has a more complex directory structure and the OMOD would have needed scripting or the files rearranged before you made it in order to work properly. It's supposed to tell/warn you when there are subdirectories and a script might be needed, but sometimes it doesn't or it's easy to miss it if you're in "click ok" mode. Nightwolfhunter
the Glenvar Castle mod doesn't start at the Data folder, but the Oblivion folder. Since my Oblivion folder is just cammed Games (Oblivion is the only game I have on my computer) the OMOD wasn't happy. oh well. easy fix. thanks again.
