Gamer6432
As the title says. A search for "*male" and "gender" in the .ini files turns up nothing related.
Tilarium
I thought I had seen that the other day when I was picking through the .ini files earlier. I'll take a look again when I get home from work and see if I can find it again or if I'm just remembering wrong. Unless of course someone beats me to it! Gamer6432
Thanks for the link. Where do I find the mod's code?
BlueRaja
Workshop mods are downloaded to steamapps\workshop\content\268500\. The source is included. Alternatively, I put my mods on Github here.
dalziel86
I've looked through the source code, but I can't quite figure out where and how the mod alters the gender balance of new recruits. Could you explain it in a little more detail?
davidlallen
In the github repository, navigate down to LastManOnEarth/Src/LastManOnEarth/Classes. You can read the comments of the two files there. Specifically, XComGameState_Unit is changed to force the gender of all created characters to female. Unfortunately, only the simple stuff is controlled in ini files; to do complex stuff (like this) you need to modify the script files. @BlueRaja, thanks a ton for putting these on git, it is much easier to search. Any more stuff you add to Stop Wasting My Time will be a huge help.
