Door System help

I have been trying to mod a level where the player goes into a building talks to an NPC for a quest and leaves the building, problem is that when I leave the building I do not teleport back to my modded level, it transports me back to the original state of the level. So all the enemies that I've removed reappear even though they were taken out and when i started the level they weren't there, this applies to all other modifications I've made to the level as well.

I've followed the official tutorials and even tried redoing everything but leaving the original door system alone and I've got no success, anyone have any suggestions for me to try? Any help is greatly appreciated!

well to start somewhere, do you have the interior door's teleport linked to the exterior door?

and the enemies, do they have "respawn" checked in their object data tab?

and "applies to all other modifications i've made", does that mean if you put an item somewhere in there, it's gone on re-enter, or do items stay where you put them?

(just doing a bit of guessing here, no real idea, what your problem is)

hm but one more thing, if your problem is obviously in your door system, rebuilding anything but the door system of course doesn't help anything.

Yea the interior door is linked to the exterior door, i double checked by clicking on the marker and following it to the linked door. What I have done is completely removed all NPC enemies from the environment in the cell view, I have also removed some static meshes and added stuff of my own, but all this resets itself once I use the door from the building to get back out. Meaning to say its like I didn't even edit the level. =S

ok somehow i don't get the whole thing - on first enter, your changes are in your cell, right? or aren't your changes _ever_ there? and then when you try to leave the cell, you're not going to the exterior (although the teleport is set there), but you return to the same interior cell, but in it's original state? kind of sounds like the door was linked to another copy of the same cell, but if you say it's linked to the exterior...

and saying you "removed" this and that, does that mean you've made modifications to an existing game cell? maybe the unchanged stuff in there is put there by a script then?
