zombewthajetpak
Hey, sorry for this dumb question. Just finally got ME3 for the PC, running it off Origin. I know there are some things to be careful about when using mods. My question is, what do I need to know and how do I get started on modding ME3? Thanks. me3deager
I would say 1) disable automatic game updating in Origin2) disable Origin in-game to help things work better3) don't mod your game and do multiplayer. granted, I'm not sure EA polices ME3 multiplayer anymore and when you get your clean install of ME3 done, it's handy to backup all those files and folders from the install directory. Once you do that, you can now try modding and always revert to that backup, run a quick update to make sure ME3 is installed properly, and good to go. Some caveats are DLCs. If you're messing with textures, texplorer will unpack the DLCs which then are views as invalid by a repair install and they all need to be downloaded again. Essentially, instead of seeing one big Default.sfar file, Origin will see a small default.sfar file and redo the entire DLC.
