ItWotBeSoonBeforeLong
Which do you think is better for weapons and combat???? I say Daedric because it is stronger. If it was a collest looking Armor, id pick Ebony.
SilvuruAgnost
Well, daedric ofc, since Bethesda created it to be the superior over ebony :P
FritzDerochebrune
Deadric might be stronger, but Ebony is still lighter. Ebony blades and blunt weapons are - if I'm not mistaking - also a bit faster than Deadric weapons. Both of them have advantages, but I prefer Ebony, since you can still see my characters face, and it looks better. Cya Fritz
Sypron
All Longsword, Shortswords, Daggers, Claymores, Warhammers, Battle Axes and Maces have the same spped and reach. War Axes are also the same in speed and reach, with the exception of elven (shorter, faster). http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Weapons

I forgot I use a mod a friend of me made once which makes lighter weapons faster. Thanks for correcting me ;)
SilvuruAgnost
Hardly any weight difference between daedric and ebony, so should really be no difference in speed.

ResidentWeevil2077
Well, ebony weapons are lighter, but you have to remember that they're "normal weapons", meaning they have no effect on ghosts, wraiths, or the meaniest undead SOBs in Oblivion, Gloom Wraiths  Daedric weapons are heavier, so they do actaully do more damage, but you become fatigued faster. FritzDerochebrune
Where can i get this mod???I would appreciate it ;) Sorry, he has deleted the mod as well. :( It isn't so hard to make, do you have a CS? Just look at 'properties' from weapons, there you can change the speed. It does take some math to calculate the exact speed of a weapon in comparison to its heavier (or lighter) counterparts, but that shouldn't be a problem for you. I think :P cya Fritz
