lgpmichael
Greetings. I have a mod that is getting somewhat close to completion. About 11 hours of gameplay so far, but I am getting to the point I really need some new artwork. I am hoping I can find an artist on here that can produce: Initially and most urgently: Un-ruined fort meshes and textures. Such as RFCastleWallsBase02 but - new as when they were first made. Most complex: A water trail, a hole cracked into the side of a large pool of water, needs to flow downhill following land contours. (No calculations for how the water flows, it just needs doing from a single known point, along a known path, to a known end point). Monster Update: A creature needs its look changing (no changes to skeleton or animations, just the textures) Knowledge of how to make a trigger box of a complex shape. And a few other ones that if you can do these you could certainly do those. If anyone is available, I would greatly appreciate the assistance on this, as I am a decent coder, but I royally suck at artwork. The mod is a way from release, but if someone steps up, I am happy to give them access to it, as the couple of playtesters that have tried it so far have said they think it is one of the most original mods they have seen. About the mod: Low to medium on combat, medium to high on puzzle solving and logical deduction. Lore friendly, in fact lore based. High on originality. Some quest markers, but not too many. lgpmichael
Further info on the most urgent bits, the fort segments: Wall quarters of approximately the same radius as RFCastleWallsBase02, and maybe 70% of the height. Interior only, as this will never be seen from the outside. Straight walls so the top and bottom radius is the same, as these will be being stacked to form a tower. Wall texture to look like a newly constructed fort. Same as above, but with a door entrance, with width equivalent to RFCastleWallsBase01, height obviously constrained by the height of the wall. Staircase which will be placed along the wall of the tower, so needs to wind round at an equal radius. Should take roughly 70 or 80 degrees of turn to go floor to ceiling, but really, whatever looks the right angle. Flooring for the segments. Stone or wood is fine. In quarters, including the floor, and the ceiling for the segment below. As above flooring segment but allowing for the staircase coming up into it, so person sized hole, and appropriate ending to give the floor/ceiling a little depth when looked at side-on as the player moves past it. Internal walling. Just straight stone wall of the same style as the outer walls, height to top of outer walls (ie outer wall height minus floor thickness), length maybe 256 and width of probably half the width of RFCastleWallsBase02 walls, double sided and ended... Same as above with a door arch in the middle to accommodate ChorrolDoorMiddleAnim01 So, 7 models. It is quite a lot to ask I am aware. Obviously credit in the README file for whoever manages it, advance access to the mod, plus a really big beer if you live anywhere close by {:-)
Pittcrew
I can't really do any artwork but just out of curiosity. Can you give a more detailed description of what this mod is? It might make others who can do artwork more tempted to want to help you if they know what it's about.

Problem is, it is hard to do without being a bit of a spoiler. In essence, it starts with a hole in the ground (obviously), and within, something is wrong with reality itself. Beyond that, it involves a major cataclysmic event, a prophecy, and the Blades. No, that isn't much help. I just really don't want to spoil it for potential players. It is a mystery, what is happening, why it is happening and how to make it all right again. One of the key elements is the mystery - not knowing what is going on. Would it help to say it has 4 dimensional puzzles? (yes, really, it does!)

Well it sounds really cool and I'd really like to help if I could. I can only do basic construction set things though, I have been learning some blender lately too though. theuseless
Fort ruins (un-ruined): ImpeREAL Empire - Unique Forts That should have some meshes that you can either use as is or re-scale. It is a great mod and worth the install on its own. Hope that this helps... theuseless -edit- You might want to ask permission before using any of those files, they aren't listed as modders' resources. Pretty sure that the pieces you require are in there. You can pm me with an attatchment and I can do some texture work for you. I have some skills with photoshop and will be able to do some work on the retex of the creature you need altered. I have no 3d rendering skills, but I am familiar with NifSkope. lgpmichael
Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately it doesn't actually work for quite what I need. They simply use existing models instead of making new, and the available models don't quite fit what I need. For reasons of consistency, I can't have the standard fort stair column, for one thing. It did point out to me though that I had overlooked the 'mid' wall textures so I think they can be used, and so considered done, and it is just the staircase and floors that are needed. I'm thinking I may even be able to get away with no internal walls now, but I need to spend some time examining this... I'll send a message about the creature shortly. Thanks for the offer.
