has anyone encountered this problem before? Character goes to transparent to invisible.

When completing the Memory Den quest, as soon as i enter the room with Dr. Amari my character turns transparent , I thought it was just strange so I ignored it. After going into Kellogs memory and exiting the character turned completely invisible ( like how you are in Kellogs memories ). I dont know what to do since for some reason my saves only go into right when I entered dr. amari's room and the only one before that is my save leaving vault 111. I believe i know the mod that is causing the error since I recently downloaded the chameleon transparency removal mod. which likely bugged my system. is there any way to recover saves not displayed in the load menu?
