kettering
Hey there! I'm having a bit of an issue romancing Morrigan as a female human mage. I'm not quite sure what's going on. I installed the mod just after getting rescued from the tower of Ishal and recruiting Morrigan. When I got into camp for the first time after leaving Lothering, I started talking to Morrigan, and all of the romance-flag dialogue choices appeared. Good sign, right? I chose all of them, but the game acts like nothing has been initiated. I believe I was at around 48 approval, where at least some of the romance dialogue options should have been available, like being able to kiss her. :s The only dialogue options I get are 'why are you still here?' and 'you're a heartless shrew, you know that?' No 'so what do I have to do to get on your good side?'. I'm not quite sure what is going on. I don't have any conflicting mods installed. Did I install it too late? Should I have done it before Ostagar? I have to say I'm not too keen on having to do everything over, haha. The beginning of the game is pretty tedious when you've done it a dozen times already. I looked through the equal love thread, and saw some other users reporting the same issue, but couldn't find an answer. :( If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it! Thandal
You need to allow Morri to initiate the appropriate conversation... It'll be a time when you come back to Camp from elsewhere.
kettering
It's not the conversation that's the issue. The game acts like no romance has been initiated at all, even though I chose the correct dialogue. From my understanding, if it works correctly, you should be able to kiss her and be intimate with her before that one certain quest, and that isn't happening here. DarkeWolf
Maybe it's just an omission, but I dont see that you've done the Circle quest at the tower of the mages. Her FIRST personal quest is there, and after giving her the Tome found in the tower, is when the romance options open up. ;)
kettering
In all the videos and guides I've seen, you're able to at least kiss Morrigan prior to the circle quest. I can't do that. [edit] I tested this on an old male warden save on my PS3 game, and yes, you can definitely kiss her before the circle quest! Although I also noticed that when I chose 'you can probe me any time,' Morrigan had a different response to the male warden than the female warden, so I'm guessing that maybe the mod just isn't working at all. :/ She must have given her the female response. Urgh. Edited May 7, 2011 by kettering
DarkeWolf
http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=13metagame items. Love potion #9. Give that to her as a gift ONCE. It will set her romance to love. That'll be the test to see if the mod is workin' right or not. ;)
kettering
Huh. I tested the mod with a male character, and it definitely works perfectly with Alistair. Just not Morrigan. I get the 'maybe tie you up to a flagpole and tickled' option, but 'you could if you wanted to' instead of 'you can probe me anytime.' Metagame item did work, though. I hope that it continues throughout the entire game, haha. D: I'm not sure why it wasn't working before, but thanks! If anyone knows why the mod isn't working for Morrigan without the item, though, I'd love to hear why. Edited May 7, 2011 by kettering
DarkeWolf
Heyas Kettering :)Sorry that my former answer was so short. I had company on the phone in a pretty heavy discussion when I replied. But I am glad to hear that the love potion #9 worked for you :)Are you by any chance using any other mods that affect Morrigan's dialogs? Its very possible that you've got a mod conflict going on there. One thing that I want to go ahead and explain. One thing about the love potion is that it can be given as a gift. However, each time you give it to them, it will toggle their romance setting. So the first time you give it to them, it will turn it On (If love is Off). The second time that you give it to them, it will turn Love Off (If it is On). And so forth. I've seen some people think, COOL! A new gift Item! No, not really, it can have some effects you don't expect, if you try to use it like that. ;) The love potion Will toggle that romance option on and off. I've used it on Morrigan even after the Dark Ritual, where her romance option is supposed to be Off. HOWEVER.... if you give her Flemmeth's Second Tome, it WILL NOT turn the "Tent Time" option back on. As of yet.... I dont know of anything that can restore that setting. Short of just not giving the second Tome to her. ;)

DwainDibley
If you have 'Morrigan Ritual" installed, Equal Love will have no affect with her. You don't have to be at any spicific point in the game for Equal Love to work, you just need a high enough approval level. Oh and, you'll know at Flemeth's Hut outside of Ostagar if the mod is working, it's in the dialog...
