nifscope-basics: file paths

i noticed, when assigning textures to a nif, nifskope apparently stores absolute file paths (like d:\games\etc) instead of relative path descriptions, is this something i have to worry about? (i really got no idea, i'm just doing first steps in nifskope, but i most definitely don't want unretrievable files when people play my mod on any other than my own machine...)

If you are sharing your mod, yes. Anyone who doesn't have the game installed in the same place as you will not have textures.

Just remove everything in the path before \textures and it will work.

aah, thanks, that was just me being stupid (i hadn't realized you could manually change the path, somehow thought the chosse-button was the only way)

...

and of course i'm sharing my mod, wouldn't see much sense in making it if i didn't... :-)
