Snap on to settlement border or existing structure

I have thoroughly been enjoying FO4 settlement building and crafting using the outstanding mods available here on Nexus, so to you authors out there, let me first say Thank You for your outstanding work.

 

What I would like to see available, dont know if anyone has done it yet, but i would like to see a mod that straightens all the settlement boundaries into straight lines and corners and then also be able to snap right onto the green wall boundary... If that isn't possible perhaps it would be possible to snap onto an existing structure within any given settlement area. I would like to be able to replace the windows and doors at the Red Rocket for example.

 

If somebody has already done something like that, please let me know.

Unfortunately that's beyond my skills to do personally. I expect some of that could be quite difficult, however being able to replace the doors is certainly possible, it's been done for sanctuary hills in this mod.

 

Sanctuary Door Frames Snap by Necrocytosis.

 

Necrocytosis says in the description of the mod "Got other places that could need door snap too? That can be arranged, but I need to know the place. All door frames can be made snappable." It may be worth contacting the mod author for assistance with the Red Rocket station.

Edit: Oh, also take a look at the author's other mod Window Floor and Roof Boards as that looks like it will help with what you're looking for.
