TheOriginalEvilD
For some reason, on a particular character, I can't get anywhere near a settlement. I've disabled all recent mods (back to the last known good configuration), but I can't fast travel or even walk there. I've loaded previous saves, but no dice. I loaded another character, and didn't have any issues fast traveling to that same settlement.
Klipperken
Corrupt save, you likely used a mod what edited a zone like sanctuary or something similar. These mods are known to cause trouble such as the run issue or Power Armor Reset. For the run issue there's a console command which I do not know from the top of me head, for the PAReset bug... well, none but an earlier (from BEFORE the mod installation) will fix that. Quite possibly, you'll need to restart the game from scratch...And do avoid these zone altering mods.At least until the GECK is launched.
TheOriginalEvilD
The only mods I installed before this were some Cait/Piper appearance mods, a gun mod, and a couple that change the way companion affinity works. I went WAY back and found a save that loaded, but I lost an hour of game play. I'm gonna play on and see if it happens again. Right now I'm playing with all those mods running with no issues yet. Klipperken
Hmmm, usually it are mods like Pristine Prewar House that bug it up.Haven't had a situation myself like this, due to not using such cell altering mods.
Eriagle
Hmm, maybe it's because after latest patch there are some textures that cause ctd. I had this same issue with couple specific locations and figured out it was because of some textures that caused the ctd. Klipperken
Question: does a game brand actually TEST their releases?I mean, CTD due to missing whatever, is just wrong. Edited February 10, 2016 by Klipperken

I'm sure that happens, but it seems to me that reloading to a previous save that works wouldn't make a difference...wouldn't those same textures load up again if they're from a new patch? I dunno guys, had to have just been a corrupt save (several I guess). I played for a couple hours last night with no issues.
Klipperken
Can you revert to 1.2?Merely asking.I locked Steam update for FO4.I do these manual, since I always expect a ton of problems with patches.I wait usually for a week or 2, three, then I read up on how folks feel about them, and then either update, OR ignore current patch.
