Darkstar0167
The console command tlb (toggle litebrite) for Fallout 3 turns off shadows and stuff so the game can run on lower end computers. but the problem i have when i use this is that the game seems to "hide" my gun... I want to be able to see my gun and play in litebrite mode. can someone help... maybe a mod that fixes this or something in the .ini file i can change... and i can't just "play without litebrite" because my computer can't handle playing without it. Darkstar0167
the game actually doesnt hide the weapons. blood still splashes on the gun (melee or otherwise) causing the players outline to become visible; a red silhouette... sort of like the stealth boy.... but enemies can still detect you. strangely in oblivion, you can turn on litebrite without losing the visibility of your gun... this is very irritating for me.. GrandpaMilk
There is a workaround at least for the invisible weapon, though it's not exactly a total fix. You can install Gopher's Advanced Recon Stealth Armor mod, then when choosing which mode to use, pick 'ridiculously easy' so that you gain a stealth field when your weapon is out even while standing. Doing it this way, I was able to at least see the gun, if not the texture (just the stealth field 'outlines' of it). As for the missing landscape, I don't know so far. Hope that helps. :)
GrandpaMilk
I didn't realize this post was three years old... But anyway, that could help if you're still interested.
