Walruscopter
Hi, I'm really not sure what all exactly can be changed in Dragon Age with the toolset etc. but I thought I'd try this. I'm not alone in colourblindess, and well .... it sucks : / I've seen a whole ONE colourblind Portrait/Healthbar mod but to my mind there's a much simpler solution that would help on a much wider scale. The TV I use for the Xbox has a bazillion options, seriously it's pretty daft, but the Colour Level Control proved invaluable. By having a sort of "colour" bar that you can crank, you can tweak it so that well .... I have trouble with like red/brown and pale shades right? I can't tell the two apart. When you strengthen each individual colour, the difference between them increases drastically, so there's no longer a problem, they're clearly different colours, you can change the shade, eliminating colourblindess problems. Understand? Anyone not following me, think of it like this. You have the number 1 and the number 2, side by side (hope you can count:p). If you applied the idea of colourblindess to that situation: the colourblind person wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the 2 numbers because the difference isn't big enough, they're too close together/similar, right? SO, a colour level control basically means well take 1 down to 0, and 2 up to 3, increasing the difference between the 2, doubling it, and at that point it passes beyond the point Captain Colourblind couldn't tell the difference, so he can now tell the 2 apart. Get me? Would there be any way anyone could add something like that even as a sort fo filter? Overall filter, it's not just details, the entire game can look kind of flat colour-wise to me and it's frustrating. Or even just make a sort of custom config with colours strengthened? I've had a good rummage around in the ini. etc, but not found anything to tweak with colours and between Windows and my PC screen I can't find a way to set the damn colour levels ! Praise MS ! : / I know this is a daft and probably very unusual request, but I think it would help a lot of people and that many without colourblindness would adopt it for the vibrance of colour. It's one thing the companies forgetting us, but well maybe it doesn't need to be like this thanks to the Nexus sites? As I said, I don't know if it's even possible, but I'm convinced it should be. If anyone could possibly even consider this idea, I'd appreciate it massively and support it in any way I could. Thanks for reading. Respect.
