Not really, I read that thing back and forth and it doesn't cover half of the things that you've mentioned. I make meshes in blender, my textures always suck, that's where spikedragonlord comes in. He's a wizard with textures. Now, I used the Effect shaders, but unless you're suggesting I make a new one, I don't know how to get one that will have the stone effect that I want. Though, I'm not even sure how to make an Effect Shader, I'll have to reread that stuff. :)

You just need not be lazy to look. As for the effect shader. You can have your friend make a stony texture and make an effect shader. It's also on the CK.

What link is that under, because I read the scripts forwards and backwards and all it talked about was events and how to make that stupid hello world thing that is a tutorial on half a dozen sites. I will admit I only skimmed the effectshaders stuff, at the time it didn't seem to apply to what I was working on, so I'll have to read it again in more detail now that I have a use for it.

 

Thanks for giving me the links to those things. I don't know how I missed them, because I read the tutorials on scripts over and over. I ended up learning how to write scripts by tearing in game scripts apart and figuring out what did what - not a very good way of doing it, since I still have big holes in my knowledge.
