Can I get help to finally put this to rest?

I am not going to rest until this is finally solved!

I am not new to modding or to Fallout 3. I have had the game since it came out and I want to finally put this whole thing to rest. This game just HAS to run more smoothly on my rig. To that particular end, I am going to use this thread to get as much input on figuring out exactly the BEST way to do exactly that.

First for my system specs. Intel Core2Duo E8400 3.0 GHz processor, Nvidea GeForce GTX 260, 8 GB RAM, and running Vista Home Premium 64 for my operating system. I refuse to believe that the stuttering and lags are a normal part of the game that can't be fixed. I hate it when I transition from cell to cell and it just DOESNT flow smoothly. It hangs up. Drives me NUTS!

I have used the large address enabler, make merged patches, installed the latest video drivers. My god...whats next!

Well, I have an Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 and a nVidia Geforce 9800 GTX+ with 4 GB RAM with XP. Try defragging your computer, or turn down the AA.

I have tried both those things and nothing has changed. I would really like a mod that would allow me to use more memory for this game!

This is my current load order. Nothing exciting and not hi-res replacers. Terrain packs or anything like that I mean. The hi-res stuff is weapons. And whatever FWE adds.

The lagging occurs with no mods at all and when I start a new game. Sometimes the lagging is VERY brief. Other times it takes forever! A minute - minute and a half. The anti stutter mod does little or nothing at all. Making it large address aware does nothing. Im at a loss. And I am NOT going to sit back and just take this. I did before but I refuse to accept that I cant fix this...

Well, are you doing anything else while you're playing FO3? Because if I surf the net while playing it, it lags a bit too (but rarely happens any more). Did you update your nVidia drivers? They released a new one recently.

I have killed all background resources. I even use Gamebooster to close them. 270.61 Drivers are installed and working well. In fact, I did this before posting to the Forums. Weird how this is not progressing smoothly enough! Its why I am appealing for help here in the forums! I just cant figure out what to do to fix this...

Relax , there is a fix to make you happy. It is just taking a while for the word to get out. Download this and use the description from it's source in a note pad. I can guarantee you a smooth game ok. here is the link. Let me know how it works for you.]
