Vampiric GLOWING EYES on Succubus...

Hello there for the first time people of this forum!

I come to you to request for a solution with a minor problem that revolves around aesthetics but drives me MAD.

Some weeks ago i decided to start a new game and wanted to try a non-vanilla race, so i looked some videos and decided to play a Succubus, so this mod seemed perfect

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/22903/

For the first days it filled all my expectations, until i reached the Dawnguard DLC and turned into a vampire.

Few Vampire Lord transformations later my char customization f***ed up because lots of options simply dissapeared after you turn into a vampire.

Changed load order, Reinstaled, results are the same.

So i had to draw upon other mods to recover that composition a bit, and i am pretty satisfied with the results but that one little thing wasnt there: Vampire glowing eyes

As far as im concerned this custom race uses a DDS file of its own... but im no modder and i dont know what to do to make them glow, or the cause why they dont.

Im also not able to change it to other eyes because everytime i load the game it goes back to THAT one, and i also use the Invisibility Glitch - eyes Fix (by Kings Gambit) MOD, that fixes the eyes after you were invisible, and that script also changes the eyes back to the THAT one.

Eyes MODs installed:
- The Eyes of Beauty - Player & Elves edition.

- Eyes of Aber v1.3

- Invisibility Glitch - eyes Fix

If someone could help me with this i will be eternally gratefull !!

I've taken a quick look at the mod and the glowing eyes mesh file isn't conducive to making eyes glow. The settings aren't set up properly: its set as an environment and not a glow map as well as certain integers inside the mesh need to be adjusted as well. If this mesh is the one controlling the eyes then this is the reason why it doesn't glow.

Also, each type of glowing eyes need to be a separate mesh file as the glow color is set inside the NIF and not the CK. Therefore if one set of eyes glow say cyan and another glow ruby red then that requires 2 NIF files and not 1; and the adjustments to which NIF goes where needs to be also set up in the CK afterwards.

This info is more for a modder if they want to fix the issue presented here. Unfortunately I'm waist deep in dialogue creation at the moment myself and don't have the time necessary to fix this up; if this isn't taken up and I have some free time after my dialogue is finished then I'll make a fix for this.

I have to thank you for confirming what i suspected: that the mod lacked some references and archives, and that i completly ignore most of the extension files and terms you used T_T

JetSteele, thank you anyways and good luck with your project dude.

May another kind soul aid me in this task???

not just for me but also to improve this Succubus MOD.

Maybe this can be of some help? I dunno, I have not look into that race mod but I suspect is similar in regards to the glow map for the eye nif.

Thanks for the link, seems like a nice guide. I was trying to avoid this because my time is limited and taught some experienced modder could do it for me

but i think ill have to learn it and do it myself

And im here back again.

I really tried and tried to understand but i find it really difficult or maybe the Succubus mod is strange.

I literally have no idea what NIF to edit, and that guide its good but for people who already know 1 or 2 things about modding.

Seen other guides on internet, not helping....

I really need some guidance over here...
