Hud display problem

I installed and had working perfectly; the hud was just the right size

1. Darnfeld

2. MCM

3. ONE HOD o HUD

4. UIO

5. Project Nevada

 

Then I installed Gopher's Adv Recon and the Hud display suddenly became huge and mashed together. Please advise...don't know if it was Adv. Recon or something else. How would I fix this??? Fallout New Vegas

Project Nevada contains an older version of MCM. You need to install MCM after PN. The newer version is more generally compatible with other mods.

 

Edit: Just to be clear, in your case you need to move PN above MCM in that list. I would suggest to above Darnified, to keep your UI mods together.

Thank you. Yes, I fixed the problem, but I think there is a problem with Darnfield UI.

 

1. MCM says Darn UI is missing start menu

2. Compass hud has disappeared

3. Darn UI does not show up in plugins side of Nexus, only on mods side. Also, does not show up at all in FOMM

 

Is there a tweak to get Darn working again? I changed fonts in ini's as suggested in Gophers vids.

Check out the description on the "oHUD" Nexus page. You need the "DarnUI patch" (from oHUD), and need to re-install oHUD because you added "Advanced Recon" which makes some changes to the HUD. And if you make changes/updates to oHUD, then you need to re-install UIO as well so it picks up those changes.

 

In general, you need to try to get all the mods that have an impact on the HUD display installed early, then install oHUD, and then UIO. Otherwise you find yourself re-installing and re-installing the latter two over and over.
