Come Fly With Me ? To the great beyond!

So I have for the longest time Thought it would be interesting to have a rebuild of the come fly with me quest line.

 

So here is what i was thinking. You do the entire quest-line like normal. Then you send Chris back to Novac. Well I feel Chris should help you build a rocket to the great beyond to follow Jason's crew.

 

So you have to gather the parts for a new rocket. Then you blast off. Land on mars. maybe you have some random broken bones. You have a limited air supply. all the ghouls are now feral. Jason is no where to be found. There are dome city's on mars. resources are distributed based on draconian laws. people are in a state of constant do this or your rations are reduced. Air is a major resource in the domes. While searching for Bright you stumble on to a terra forming conspiracy. Where you can bring an atmosphere to mars and save the citizens of the domes. Of-course this would upset the established powers that be. Who are suppressing the option to terraform to maintain control of the people. After freeing mars, aliens awake from hibernation. As it was alien tech that was used to make it all happen. Now the player has to save the domes from a alien invasion. The player quests through the newly terraformed planet of mars to the Mother-ship and takes it over for himself. This becomes the players way to go from mars back to the Nevada wasteland. I feel it should act like an alien house mod at this point. Maybe have a cave in Nevada made where the player can walk in to it and see the location where the alien mother ship could land. But if the player has yet to go to space it should have either nothing blocking the cave with nothing in the location where the mother ship could potentially land. or the cave its self should be just blocked off completely on the Nevada side until the player digs his way out after his return from mars. Since I feel the mars planets wealth should have been based off mining in the first place. Keeping obedient miners through control over resources. It be really cool if you had to use a remote to call the mother ship to land as well. Sorta like how a vertibird lands. That would really take the cake. As far as Jason's where abouts???? That should be its own interesting story in its self. Is he Feral now? Is he dead? What happened to their rockets??? This would also be a great way to have alien themed weapons and armors^^ Maybe have the mothership have a special work bench to produce alien ammo and such. Maybe a rare suit a retro engineered power armor that uses alien tech.
