monkeywork
Hi, I just installed Oblivion and have installed all the patches and unofficial patches for the game. I'm wondering what mod's I should install to make my exploration more visually stunning. I'm running a fairly recent machine and should have little problems with advanced graphics. What will make the NPC's, cities, and general landscape really breath taking?
RitualBlack
You could always use Oblivion Graphics Extender v2 as well as the unique landscapes mods + Qarls Texture Pack III. The games does get really demanding my mixing OBGE and QTP though, and if you are perfectly fine running both, check out additions to OBGE like OBGE Liquid Water. Have fun

Xios5
As an alternative to QTP you could try "Really Textured Normal Maps for Vanilla", and an alternative to Obge liquid water would be "Realistic Water". If blood spattering everywhere and obscuring your vision counts as visual, get Deadly Relfex 6, awsome combat mod. I used to use Better Cities, and it seemed pretty cool at first, but I started to find aspects of it were just overdone - named goblins walking around in the waterfront, and executed prisoners hanging in Bravil, necromancer style... No offence to the Better Cities team though, its still a good mod thats taken a lot of work, so kudos to them.
