justaking
BASH was working fine before i did a clean wipe and startd over. Now, although I isntalld both Wrye Python and Bash, it will not load and says (no console) after the application. How can I fix this? Do I need to move the wrye python to a different folder? It is currently in the same directory as bash.

ArmeniusLOD
You might need to set pythonw.exe and python.exe in your Python install folder to run as an administrator if you're using Vista or 7. To do so right-click on the .exe, click Properties, click the Compatibility tab, and check off "Run this program as an administrator." I did install the Python pack and run as admin. is greyed out in properties. This computer is vista.
HeyYou
Does wrye bash create a log file somewhere? Maybe in the Mopy Folder???? If there is one, can you post it?
ArmeniusLOD
Is your user account an administrator-level? This is the only reason I can think of that it would be greyed out.

There is only one account. There aren't any others. I assumed it would be administrator level.. how can I check?
ArmeniusLOD
Control Panel->User Accounts. It should say under your username. If it was a fresh install of Vista then the first account should be an administrator. If your computer is pre-built, however, the one you created probably isn't. I put the value to yes in the cmd window and relogged on as administrator. However it still says (no console) after the wrye bash appilcation and will not run. ArmeniusLOD
What .pyw are you using to launch Bash? If Wrye Bash Launcher.pyw isn't working, try using bash.py instead. Edited May 11, 2011 by ArmeniusLOD
