improved romance scenes alistair mod

Hi! First of all i like to thank the moders for this very gameenhancing mod! I'm currently playing dao for the second time as a female city elf rogue and stumbled upon something peculiar, at least for me:

i finished the tower of mages, redcliff, lothering and did a few quests in denerim (including the goldana quest) - now i'm in the dalish camp and preparing to go off to hunt the white wolf - i talked to alistair in the dalish camp and there was the following dialogue options:

1. 'I have some questions'

2. (Special)

3. (Hug him)

4. I'd like to discuss something private

5. Never Mind

 

i had just talked to him in camp and didn't get the (Special) option - so this was the first time i saw it - as i clicked on it, i came to another dialogue, in which there was only the option

'Never mind' -

 

what is this (special) option about or is it a glitch? i couldn't find anything as i googled it - thank you very much for any advice! babs

 

PS: i just went to the partycamp - and the option was gone, i went to denerim and also - no (special) option - it only appears when i'm in the dalishcamp with him..

I came across this today as well at the docks by the circle tower. Clicked on Alistair and one of the choices was "Special" .. when I clicked on it, the conversation ended though. My warden is also a city elf rogue. Anyone know what the special options are for? Class specific maybe?

Actually i doscovered how this works by accident, i had seen it before too but wasnt doing anything until i went to lake calenhad docks with only the warden and alistair in the party!! (havent tryed it with full party) and it triggers a romance cut scene! i dont know yet if it works in other areas too! i hope i helped :)

Without spoiling it for people, the [special] options change depending on Origin, and if you aren't of a particular Origin, the [special] doesn't apply in specific places and won't fire. The Lake Calenhad one, for example, fires for Mage Warden females only.

 

Suggestion: read the readme for further info. ;-)

It is not supposed to be a (Special) alternative when you're in Camp. The (Special) alternative just appears when you and Alistair are at places where a scene can trigger. For example, if you are at the Dalish Camp and is says (Special), the scene only triggers IF you are a Dalish Elf :)
