Hi there. I was wondering if I could get some help on why my Point Lookout DLC will not work.

I downloaded it from Games For Windows Live (GFWL), dug up the .esm and the .bsa's from the Application Data directory, and put them in my Data Files folder. Point Lookout.esm is listed in Fallout Mod Manager, and files such as FOOK2 which require Point Lookout.esm are loading fine. So, the .esm file is where it should be, and the game knows it is there, but the quest line never starts, and the Gambit never appears at the dock. I have quite a few mods running, but even after deactivating all of them Point Lookout still will not activate. It's like the DLC is just kind of floating around dead in my Data Files folder. Anchorage, The Pitt, and Broken steel work fine; I'm not sure about Zeta, never had any interest in trying it even though I do have it.

Do the DLCs need to be activated via the in-game GFWL menu first? When I tried re-applying the 1.6 and 1.7 patches, they brought me into Fallout 3 and had me activate the game over GFWL. However, none of my save games were available through this method for some reason, so I quit. Fallout Mod Manager and the Script Extender seem to deactivate the GFWL feature - is this interfering with Point Lookout's functioning?

Anyway, hope I didn't get carried away with acronyms and such. Anyone have any idea on how I can play Point Lookout? Many thanks!

This did not work, unfortunately. Even starting a new game without any unofficial mods does not work. When I started a new game, Anchorage, The Pitt, and Broken Steel all popped up indicating they were installed and working. Point Lookout never did. Any suggestions on what is wrong with it? It's as if it's deactivated or something.
