Kosmos93
First post, some experience in modding. My problem is that, due to the overplaying of Oblivion, I would like to create some of my own content, move on and play another game, come back in a month or two, and start playing the game's new content I designed after I forget about most of it. My ideas are to create a few new cities and quests to fill them up, some new dungeons, and etc. My problem is that I can not find Oblivion\data\textures and files of the like. They do not exist. Has any one else had this problem? Is it an issue with the installation? This is a severe problem for my ambitions, as I cannot access ANY textures. Most of the folders in the /Data folder, like textures, meshes, etc. do not exist when you install the game. They are only used by mods that are "overwriting" the data files that are actually packed into the BSAs, or adding their own files. If you want to retexture or edit meshes, you need to unpack the appropriate BSAs.
