CTD on cast spell

Hi,

 

I'm running morrowind lately again,

aftre some toying I got a lot of mods back running, (haven't played 1 year+?).

 

anyway, I was playing and modding a bit and suddenly discovered that everytime I try to cast a spell, (enchant or spell), the game CTDs...

In the warning file is nada.

 

the plugin I've been modding I've deactivate, but that doesn't help anything.

 

I use TESTOOL, Wrye Mash, Morrowind enchanted, MWSE, and I got one heck of a load order list.

Note: That last thing 'vn_lichcraft2_addon' is my own project in which I intended to change the lich form ro a ryukiassen (and succeded yay!).

I also modified some global dialog, but discovered that I don't need that anymore, and I messed with the Spelltalker creature and the Enchanttalker creature...

Note 2: This list seems not to be in the right load order. Wrye Mash shows the right order, and that's not this.

Note 3: this is copy-paste from Morrowind.INI...

 

my first quistion is, can somebody figure out wth is going on?

 

my second quistion is, how do I prevent modded content overwriding another.

since in the first lichcraft I want to have that dialog.

but the second contains the models for Ryukiassan...

so unless the advice is 'start over' I'd like to get something learned.

I've been doing some work and noticed that any Lich related spells don't work. neither any 'home made' spells.

other spells work fine, but anything 'home made' is CTDing...

 

also, I've modded my addon so that it now only replaces the vn_lich meshes with those of the Ryukaissen and chances the race to a beast race.

 

Of course I could 'not use own spells' but I am in a quest where two persons need to be invisbilitied. and I haven't found a buyable spell for that...

so I need to make my own.

 

I'll continue research and put any anomalies and all here.

It seems the problem infected all save files, no going back o_O

still researching... *sigh*...

Sounds like your safest route will be to remove all your mods, highlight the latest savegame in Wrye Bash, click the file list and hit Save. Then right click that saved game, and do a Repair All. Might work, might not. Worth a shot.

I know it can work, but I'm not going to lose days of work and research...

 

second, I've fixed the problem. it was the spell timer thing.

 

third, why didn't I get an e-mail notification.

 

forth, how do I find the perant mod of an object added by a mod.

cause I got two unknown mods that add two diffirent comepletly clipping forts trough one another.

 

fifth, how do I remove debris objects?

Like the remove debris cells, but then with objects...

Cause I've got at least 8 floting fences from the abigail mod that don't go away.

and now I got 5 useless forts clipping with another useless fort.

(I never knew of the first fort, and added the second fort via a mod later... then discovered the horror. tried to remove the mod of which I know one fort is, but the forts seem to stay none the less...)

What are you talking about? And why are you getting so aggressive? I took out my time to make a suggestion that had nothing to do with your mod, and everything to do with trying to help you repair what seemed like a corrupted savegame.

 

Have fun fixing your own difficulties in the future.
