Bashed Patch Troubles

Recommended Posts

I recently downloaded a "bald hairstyle" mod. When I check the .esp in Wrye Bash, it turns red and asks me to deactivate it and import it into the patch. When I try to rebuild the patch, I check it under "race records" to be merged. Unfortunately, when the patch builds, it fails to integrate the mod, even when it is clearly checked under "race records." Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Auri

Right-click on the Bashed Patch in Wrye Bash and click Readme... Click on Race Records in the new window and check the list of source mods. If it's listed there it has been merged into the Bashed Patch, even if it is unmarked in the load list.

Checked the Readme...it's not there. No matter what I do, I can't get it to show up. It's never done this before.

As in, it's merged fine before or it just hasn't done it period before? You could always enable the plugin despite Bash's complaining and see if it works without problem. You could try rebuilding the patch from scratch, with the one in the Extras folder that comes with Wrye Bash.

It's just this one mod that won't merge at all. It hasn't before, and it doesn't look like it's going to.

I suppose I could try enabling it anyway, but I think the game is just going to ignore it.

EDIT: Just to let you know, I fixed it. Had to download a different mod. Apparently, there was just something wrong with the other .esp. Thank you for your help, regardless, ArmeniusLOD.

It is adding something new, hence it can not be merged, only imported. If it only edited the race records, it would be merged, but it also adds a new hairstyle.

EDIT: If you are willing to learn some basic Tes4Edit modding, you can easily merge it yourself.
