IRogueCellI
I've browsed multiple forums, probably been through 30 different threads. I've edit the path of the 4gb enabler, I've done a fresh install, I've moved files around into different locations. Nothing works. I recently updated to Windows 10, and fallout was giving me s#*! ever since. I got it to work with 4gb active, but the ENB doesn't work. I've tried putting the ENB .dll file into the exes folder created by the 4gb enabler. I've tried editing the path of the 4gb shortcut. After hours I started the game up and the ENB worked along with it being 4gb, but after that I shut it down, and 10 minutes later I started a game back up, no more ENB. I don't know what to do anymore I feel like I've tried everything. Somebody help me through this.
dubiousintent
I'm not an ENB expert, but I noted that things depend upon whether you are using the "wrapper" or "injector" method. The "wrapper" method is recommended to be tried first. The key with that method and 4GB is to make sure the "d3d9.dll" is placed in the "exes" folder used by 4GB. That alone did not work for me, so I then moved on to the "injector" method. With that you need to edit the "enbinjector.ini" file and place "fnv4gb.exe" as "ProcessName0=" and "FalloutNV4GB.exe" as "ProcessName1". While it called for adding a "-laaexe" switch to the command line for FNV4GB.EXE, that didn't work so I removed it. For some reason, that seemed to get the "wrapper" method working. (Go figure.) Query: Where do you have the game installed? If it is under the "C:\Program Files" folder tree, I really recommend moving it. That is a system protected folder and any changes you make to it are actually stored in a "shadow" file structure which can cause wierd things like apparent vanishing files. Move games out of that tree to another, such as "C:\Games". -Dubious- Edited February 17, 2016 by dubiousintent
