So, one of my mods has gone and messed up my game pretty good. Now, without any mods active, I still have a problem in that whatever I shoot, using whatever bow or ammunition, comes flying my way.

There's got to be a way to get rid of this bug without restarting.

I think I try too many mods too soon after their release :(

I had something similair. Whenever I hit things with my sword they would fly off in random directions. I think it was caused from me installing Area based damage by talkie toaster. Fixed it by turning the mod of and loading up a game from before I installed the mod.

Even if there is, I don't know how. Sorry. I lost a bit of time playing too, but this is the price of mods. You get more enjoyment but put your save game's neck out.

Which mod by TalkieToaster are you talking about? This sounds like his mod changed some game variable settings. It may be possible to create another mod which resets those settings.

TalkieToaster just put out a package of mods under the title of Locational Damage. The one in particular that is probably the culprit is Armour Per Location, seeing as that is the one that TalkieToaster now warns against use on tesssource.net

I was thinking a mod could do the trick myself. Either that or a way to clear out variables set by mods. I've tried to use the construction set a bit, and it confuses me :( It doesn't seem terribly intuitive to me at all.

I think I"ll wait a few days to see if TalkieToaster puts up a fix, and then start over. Or move on to a new game.

Thanks for the responses btw.

I just created a mod which resets the global variables changed by the Armour per Location mod. Make sure it loads after any other mods you have active and see if it helps with the issue. Keep in mind that if any other mod you use modifies these variables, there may be other unpredictable side effects.

With no other mods loaded except for the fix mod, I still get the same problem.

So, does that mean that I was wrong about which mod was causing the problems?

Thanks for that mod anyway. I'm impressed that you went out of your way like that for me.
