ENBoost makes my game too bright. HELP!

Hi! I don't know if anyone is reading this, but I'm hoping to get some insight.

I've started modding my game and decided to download all kinds of texture mods I could find + Vogue ENB overlay to make the game look better. Everything has worked great. My preformance is at 60 fps most of the time, textures are sharp and I haven't come across problems. Except for a few textures not loading here and there, BUT I've managed to fix this with the help of "Texture load fix and quality improvement tweak guide" here on nexus.

My problem: when I apply Enboost (this was a step in the tweak guide) to my FO4 folder and overwrite my earlier .dll files (d3d11.dll and d3dcompiler_46e.dll specificly) it makes the game super bright and the colours fade out a little. Doesn't matter where I am in the game, brightness is just way off. Black is gray and white hurts my eyes.

There's three files in the Enboost rar folder: d3d11.dll, d3dcompiler_46e.dll and enblocal.ini. I tried looking through the enblocal.ini file and it seems identical to the enblocal.ini file that comes with Vogue ENB overlay. This most likely means the problem is with the d3d11.dll or d3dcompiler_46.dll.

Where is that brightness coming from and Is there any way to take it away? :pinch:

Ps. I'm 100% sure this is not caused by a mod. I re-installed and tested everything when I first came across this problem.

Nvidia PERSUADED bethesda to EXCLUDE a gamma setting ingame, so loads of peeps have this problem. You see, Microsoft has this MORONIC idea of 'reference gamma' that sets your display device to a correct gamma on the desktop, that a game then inherits. Guess what? Like most microsoft 'clever' automation, it just doesn't work.

I use a program called GAPA.EXE (Google it) to set a FO4 appropriate gamma on the desktop before launching the game). Before using an ENB, I used 0.75. But after activated an ENB, I needed 0.95 gamma for the game to look correct.

Hi and thanks for your answers!

Texture loading fix is included in the latest Enboost (no other enb files have this it seems). This is what I was looking for, because my game would not load textures properly with all these mods. With the latest Enboost, my textures load perfectly (this is with +30 different texture mods installed, and it is indeed an incredible fix). However, my game is simply too bright and looks cartoonish. So I basicly got rid of one problem, just to have it replaced by another one. :/
