elderscrolliangamer
I've made a Diamond City Radio mod, it's not 100% working yet and still plays songs twice in a row, but i was wondering if that's ok to upload or not. I've deliberately NOT included any of Travis' lines, or Magnolia's songs, just the other songs. Since Conelrad uses several songs that Fallout 4 later used, and that is still up, I was wondering if I could upload this, and if not, what exempts Conelrad from whatever copyright these songs have? bben46
If your mod uses any copyrighted tunes then no - NO copyrighted content is allowed as we don't want to be sued or shut down by the rabid lawyers of the big music companies. And, nearly every tune is copyrighted. Just because you find some internet site that claims their music is free to use - that does not mean they didn't steal it themselves. The big music companies do not believe any use is fair use . :pinch: And they have a small army of lawyers just waiting to jump on sites like this for allowing what they consider infringement. Music from other games, and especially other BethSoft games are not allowed ( Please debate this with Beth as it is their policy) There a few sites that do have music that is allowed, either because the copyright owner allows or it is so old the copyright has expired.
elderscrolliangamer
Thanks for clearing that up! :) Maybe I will change the songs. Any idea what genre I should focus on? Not sure what's missing that would fit in the world of Fallout.
