Unable to begin downloads

Since I registered on this site, I have been unable to download any files. I go to the mod page, click on the file tab, click on the particular file I wish to download, but alas- nothing happens. I have so far tried to download files (the dragon age website) with IE8, Firefox and Google chrome. I have cleared cookies and cache, I have restarted my computer several times, and I have checked my ad blocker, popup blocker, and firewall settings.

So, Nexus community, what do?

have you enabled scripting ? the items you mentioned contain controls to prevent script functions. Without script functions enable in any one of those programs, you will never download a file off this site.http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/biggrin.gif

Yeah, scripting is enabled. I just tried removing my plugins and re adding them one by one, so I'm pretty sure none of them are causing a problem.

I don't suppose somebody could upload a particular mod to a filesharing site and PM me the link?

I used to have this issue long ago, it was caused by a popup blocker.

Have you actually tried without any ad/popup blockers? I know you checked the settings but it's always easier to check without them.
