Problems with G.E.C.K

I'm trying to learn how to mod with the GECK, I already have FNV (Just recently got it for the PC) and I downloaded the FNV GECK, then I started the GECK, went to file, data, checked FalloutNV.esm, and clicked ok. And it loaded stuff like bobby pins, caps, and a couple notes. That's it. Nothing else was loaded. I tried several times to reload it, even reinstalled both FNV and GECK, with the same thing happening. I am running it as admin, if that changes anything. OS is Windows 7.

Is your FalloutNV.exe and your GECK.exe version 1.3.0.452 ?

How do I check? And how do I update it? o-o

I'm pretty sure FalloutNV.exe is up to date since I set steam to automatically update, but I wouldn't know with GECK

 

EDIT: Ok I just found the GECK version, 1.1 Sooo how do I update? I searched for it on the web but couldn't find anything.

Thanks..I downloaded it from that just a sec ago..maybe the files we're corrupted..both..times..I downloaded...uh..Anyway, it seems to be working now, thanks.

You probably downloaded from the wrong URL. There is also an url with .html instead of .php that gives you the wrong GECK, although the page looks identical.
