zwerny
would it work if I created a new set of armor and say a sword, but didnt put any images or meshes for them? would they still work and just not be visible, or would it be an error?
Sypron
If you don't GIVE the item a mesh, you get a form of error. However, it would work if you give the item a model that is blank.

The real question is what you're hoping to accomplish here? Are you trying to make a nude body appear instead of the armor? Are you trying to make a person look like they have no legs, chest? or what?
Sypron
Surely if you give the weapon a mesh but have no actuall art within the mesh it would not result in the exclaimation mark of doom?
Vagrant0
Surely if you give the weapon a mesh but have no actuall art within the mesh it would not result in the exclaimation mark of doom?No as long as you attach a nif to the thing in the CS, and that nif can be found there won't be an exclaimation mark. However in the case of weapons, since their attack length is based on the actual length of the weapon, a weapon without any mesh would likely be useless.
