xTaicho Posted February 17, 2016 Share Posted February 17, 2016 (edited) Hello, I am currently trying to figure out how to create mods in fallout 4, so basically I have absolutely no knowledge of it whatsoever.So yeah, except for some nooby textures and dirty meshes, there's nothing I can really make. But i tried anyways.I'm done with meshes and textures (no animations yet because I wanted to test things out first), I've created a bgsm file and made a .nif file from the weapon dummy where I deleted almost everything, except for the meshes and the textures etc.I tried using the deliverer FO4 edit thingys so that I can get this gun in-game, of course it crashes.Now, as I said, I'm really new to this sort of stuff but I want to start with THIS weapon in THAT game to figure out how to make mods. Now for troubleshooting I tried 2 things so far:The first thing I tried was deleting the combinations from the deliverer entry because I kind of figured the combinations would cause some errors, but I don't know how so in the end i didn't actually do it,which is why I ended up using the 10mmdummy entry in the FO4Edit things. Thanks in advance,xTaicho EDIT:Nevermind, I think I'll try to go ahead and continue to learn 3d modeling and texturing etc until the GECK comes out, and maybe get some basics from the skyrim creationkit..
