CaptainJew
1. I am working on a mod now that only uses stuff from the game. I was thinking of adding a mounted machine gun/minigun but the problem i dont have any 3d design skills, blender using, or any other programs alike. I was searching for a mod that has already the mounted gun - but didnt find any. Does anybody know of one or could make one? 2. I know this exists in Vegas everywhere but i dont remember if FO3 had any container that takes all ur weapons when u enter and then returns them to u when u leave. If anyone knows which container does this or an easy way to make one, I would appreciate the help. Thank You,Captain Jew
Moraelin
You don't really need any 3d skills to add a tripod to a weapon in NifSkope, if you can find something that looks like a tripod. (Or suitable kind of emplacement/support/whatever.) It's just a matter of copying and pasting branches in NifSkope between the two files. Important tip: check the String numbers used for the node "names" against the actual number of strings in the file header's string table before saving. Referencing non-existent stuff WILL crash the game. And if you don't find exactly what you need, you can get creative and make one out of 3 metal bars, or whatever. You know, A-Team style :P In a post-apocalyptic world, something looking like it was made out of two lead pipes and three table legs can actually be a positive thing. Of course, if you must edit your own 3d model, well, good luck there.

Moraelin
Well, if you've used Windows Explorer or the GECK, then you already know what a tree view looks like. In the Explorer tree view, basically a directory is a "node". The tree view in GECK works pretty much the same, except the tree view is the structure of the item.
