Install Order

Due to no response from my previous thread http://forum.gamingsource.net/index.php?showtopic=38170 , I decided to reinstall Oblivion and all my mods. Now this is the official Install order right?

 

Install this way if you have Shivering Isles:

 

1. Install Oblivion 1.0

2. Install Official 1.1.511 Patch (only if you want the launcher to be fully functional)

3. Install Shivering Isles (which brings Oblivion to 1.2.201)

4. Install Official 1.2.0416 Shivering Isles Patch

5. Install Official Add-ons

6. Install the Unofficial Oblivion Patch (user-made mod)

7. Install the Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch (user-made mod)

8. Install the Unofficial Official Mod Patch (user-made mod)

 

 

 

So when do I install all my Oblivion (fan-) mods? Before step 3?????

 

And when do I install of my (fan-)KotN items etc. mods? Before step 6?

 

And when do I install all my SI (fan-) mods? Before step 3???????

Oh and 1 more thing: In which patch does the SI-BUG get solved? In a fan-made patch or in the official SI patch from Bethesda?

You must install whichever other mods after the point 8. For the install order of the mods you must remember that the mods that you install afterwards (their meshes/textures) will replace those that you've installed before. For the load order using OBMM you can use this or giving a look at dev_akm site here. Otherwise searching in the tutorials section of this site or surfing the web.
