Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed connection with

Hello, whenever trying to download a file I get this error:

Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed connection without sending any data

This is on google chrome, when I try to download on firefox or IE I just get a white loading screen. I had downloaded tons of files prior for over a year and everything was smooth. Can anyone help me please?

Edit (2): Also on certain sites like Pandora Internet radio or IMDB I get the same error.

 

Edit (3): I understand there is a thread about a similar problem but I did not think that solved what I needed.

Fixed it by reinstalling windows.
