after hotfix, some sdk uc files don't compile !?

Cannot be used reliably anymore in my case.

Verified the cache, tried to compile extremely simple stuff and i get BIG 85Mbs qUIck_CLR_ModShaderCache.upk file. Completely useless at that point since i'm only adding a very few custom colors into Skins, Armor & Weapon palettes.

This project is now officially stopped on its track until they solve these important SDK issues.

 

As if the XCom\Classes templates self-replicating in everyone's tiny-biddy (Speaking 100's of Kilobytes worth of effective code stuff -- here ya know) weren't enough of an overload waste that flooded the Workshop & bandwidths over the past two weeks since release.

 

We don't need a HotFix... we should have some ULTRA permanent solution to actually start modding project(s) within a stable device that allows developping beyond vast concerns.

 

I mean, call me when everything is back to "normal" again. ;)

I am also experiencing the 85MB shader file. But, a few rough edges like this don't discourage me from modding. I hope you will keep up with it. For a change of pace, you could check out the two new alien types just added at workshop, Advent Sniper and Advent Psi Operative. I haven't tried them but now I have to decide whether to do part of a playthrough against them, or do more modding.
