XCOM2 Weapon specific upgrades

I was thinking it would be really cool if the weapon upgrades you pick up were specific to different weapons. so getting a certain upgrade for a weapon is much rarer, but the bonus were way better.

 

for example picking up an advanced scope for a sniper gives +20 aim instead of +10, superior could give +30.

 

Some might think its OP but it would make getting a fully upgraded weapon much harder and more rewarding for doing so.
