Vhearhok
Trying to create a mod where equipment itself is the only factor. I want to remove any perks npcs have that increase or decrease their damage. in Fallout.esm there are a bunch of perks named crDamageXX, does anybody know what they do? Ultimately I'd like to remove leveling from the game, especially any influence level has on damage/damage resistance/health. I want levels to only be relevant to perk progress for the player. Any advice on how to accomplish this would be appreciated. To difficult early on, too easy at higher levels <-- want to avoid this. I want the game to be challenging overall, which is a pain to accomplish. Either you make the lower tier/lower level enemies too easy, or you make the higher tier/higher level enemies too difficult. I want the game to be more difficult, but I don't want to get oneshotted and I don't want them to be bullet sponges. Vhearhok
Not trying to be a dick here, but did you look at the crDamageXX perks? There didn't seem to be any description of them in FO4Edit, or on the fallout wikis I looked at. I just changed all of them to 1.00000, hopefully I didn't muck my game up.

Vhearhok
Is your point that it modifies weapon attack damage? That's not what I meant. What I wanted to know is how do the perks work, like what causes an npc to have perk X. I guess I could've phrased my opening post better. TheTalkieToaster
That was my point, yes- you asked "does anybody know what they do?". If you're wondering how the perks are applied, just do right-click in FO4Edit and select Other->Build reference info. That adds a 'references' tab in FO4Edit. Once you've selected a form you can use this tab see which other forms it's used on and double-click to jump to them.
